Sound advice was given by top businesswomen in a virtual conference for entrepreneurs.

AROUND 300 entrepreneurs from around the country joined an online webinar conference at the end of last week to listen to a panel of business experts, headed up by award winning business women Margaret Hirsch and popular KZN business coach, Marlene Powell, who walked them through ideas to keep their businesses on track during lockdown.

Joining Margaret and Marlene were business coaches Elsa Groenewald, who operates out of Gauteng, Lindie Malan, who runs a coaching business in the Cape, Network Configurations Director Erica Floweday, who gave some important tips on working remotely, and Glenda Thompson, CEO of PR company Get U Noticed, who explained how to stay relevant and visible during this time.

The next webinar, Survive and Thrive, will be on Thursday, 9 April between 1pm and 2pm and will cover the key topics of cash flow, virtual work from home, marketing and sales, pivoting your business by way of moving to online shopping with online expert Sarah Swainson coming on board for this section, and Regine Le Roux from Reputation Matters will also be joining the panel and will be discussing tips and tricks to help you look after your reputation during lockdown.
