Project winners awarded

Durban Primary School was chosen as the winning school and Pedros was chosen as the winning business.

FOLLOWING the Bulwer Safety and Urban Regeneration Forum’s (BSURF) schools’ and community Christmas project last year, chairperson, Heather Roos awarded the project winners with trophies recently.

As part of the competition, children from local schools as well as businesses in the area, decorated trees along Helen Joseph Road in December. The participants wrapped the trees in red, green and white material and out of recycled material, made Christmas decorations to attach to the material on the tree they adopted.
