Have your pet microchipped

Pet microchipping will be done on Saturday, 8 February at Jameson Park, Morningside.

MY Pet Microchipping is encouraging pet owners to get pets microchipped on Saturday, 8 February at Jameson Park (opposite Mitchell Park), Morningside, between 9am and 11am.

The importance of microchipping your pets cannot be stressed enough. If they go missing, it will ensure you are reunited with them once they are found. The chip provides information to rescue organisations or a vet when a pet is found, and gives you proof of ownership as your details and contact details as owner are logged.

Owners must also ensure their details are always kept up to date on the database to ensure the best chance of being reunited with a missing pet.

My Pet Microchipping uses internationally approved GetMeKnown microchips, readable by all scanners.

Cost is R165 per microchip. Contact Robert on 082 890 0975 or Zelda on 084 015 1933 via WhatsApp or email: mypetmicrochipping@gmail.com. House calls are also available.
