GLENWOOD SuperSpar owner, Stefanie Steffen, was recently voted Mrs Spar KZN.
Steffi, as she is known by many, hails from the picture-book city of Rosenheim in Bavaria, Germany. She is a passionate artist, qualified paediatric nurse, and has experience teaching pre-schoolers.
In 2002 Steffi was taken out from her comfort zone and introduced into the retail business of Spar by her husband, Norbert.
Without a retail background, both husband and wife poured years of dedication, great enthusiasm and love for their community and team into their business. This hard work has resulted in winning the Service Excellence Award for 11 years in a row.

Steffi has outdone herself in the role of being a great mother to their only daughter, Kathrina as well as being a great retailer.
Her hard work and consistent determination, as well as boundless energy in the business, is what drives and motivates the entire team at Glenwood SuperSpar. Most importantly, because of Steffi’s contribution to growing the Spar brand as well as her ongoing support to the community, she won the prestigious award of ‘Mrs Spar’ recently, becoming the first to achieve this award in the KZN region.
