Rossburgh testing grounds weekend operating hours

Responding to a high volume of backlog and application the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport announced that The Rossburgh and Pinetown testing stations will be open for the two remaining weekends in January starting tomorrow.

THE Rossburgh and Pinetown testing stations will be open tomorrow for the remaining two weekends of January, the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education has announced.

Both stations will be open on 18 to 19 January 2020 and 25 to 26 January 2020 from 7am to 1pm.

No bookings of drivers and learners tests will be done on these days but people can come for their drivers and PRDP licence renewals, collection of drivers licences and driving licence testing.

The Rossburgh station will also be taking PRDP applications.

Kwanele Ncalane, spokesperson for KZN Transport Department, said the weekend extensions were a response to large number of backlogs and applications.

“Generally we find that December and January are very busy for applications. We will be opening weekends on specific periods throughout the year depending on the volume of applications we have. It’s part of our mission to improve service to the people, he said.
