Get tickets for pensioners’ luncheons

Senior citizens will have the opportunity enjoy a morning of entertainment, good food and fun.

PENSIONERS are encouraged to get their tickets for the ward 27 and ward 33 Senior Citizens’ end of year luncheons on Monday, 9 December.

The ward 33 luncheon will be at Brettonwood High School from 9am, and senior citizens will have the opportunity to enjoy a morning of entertainment, good food and fun.

Pensioners will be provided with a food parcel after the event to enjoy over the festive season.

If you live in ward 33 you can collect a ticket from Councillor Mmabatho Tembe at Stella Sports Club, Helen Joseph Road, Glenwood, on 5 December between 9am and 4pm.

Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis and will only be issued to ward 33 residents aged 60 years and older.

When collecting your ticket take your ID document (ID, Smart ID, passport or temporary ID).

The ward 27 event will be from 9am at Sutton Park. Tickets can be collected from Councillor Ernest Smith’s office at Unit 5, 453 Lilian Ngoyi Road, Morningside, on Thursday or Friday between 8.30am and 11am. WhatsApp or call Councillor Smith on 079 214 0020 if you are unable to collect during these times. Take your ID and some form of proof of residence.
