Next of kin sought by Durban police

The deceased was identified on the scene by bystanders as Thulisile Fortunate Mtshali from Sydenham.

DURBAN Central Detectives are appealing to the community to help with any information which will assist their investigations into a murder of an unknown woman.

Const Zanele Khomo from Durban Central SAPS said on 17 October at about 9pm, police attended to a complaint of an alleged murder where a woman had been stabbed to death on Pine Street.

“The deceased was identified on the scene by bystanders as Thulisile Fortunate Mtshali from Sydenham.”

“She was around 35 years of age and was wearing black leggings, a black top and black shoes. A red/maroon handbag was found next to her. The police are appealing to the community for information regarding relatives or next of kin to help solve this case,” she said.
