Durban Fashion Fair mentorship programme applications now open

A call goes out for designers to be groomed for the 2020 Durban Fashion Fair Mentorship Programme.

ETHEKWINI Municipality invites young and aspiring fashion designers, as well as fashion houses within the greater eThekwini area interested in participating in the 2020 Durban Fashion Fair 10 month mentorship programme to apply now.

The interested fashion houses and designers are requested to submit a company or individual profile, a Grade 12 certificate or relevant degree, a certified RSA ID document, proof of residence, a letter of motivation, and a professional portfolio of evidence with a story and mood board.

Applicants should indicate that their businesses are registered, if not, the City’s Business Support, Tourism and Market Unit will assist in registering through the Small Business Development Agency.

Deliver the application and supporting documents to the Business Support, Tourism and Market Unit, 7th Floor, Embassy Building, 199 Anton Lembede Street, Durban, for the attention of Nokuphila Makhanya, before 4pm on Thursday, 28 November.
