WATCH: Springbok Champions Tour kicks off in uMhlanga

The Springboks are in Durban this morning as part of their nation-wide tour.

DURBAN is abuzz with excitement as rugby fans line the streets of Durban to welcome the 2019 Rugby World Cup Champions, the Springboks!

The parade, in which the Bokke will be showing of the Web Ellis Trophy to the South African fans as a gesture of appreciation for their support throughout the World Cup, started this morning at Centenary Boulevard and continued along uMhlanga Rocks Drive.

The parade will proceed to KwaMashu and then on to the City Hall where the eThekwini Municipality Mayor Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda, the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal Sihle Zikalala and the MEC for Sport and Recreation, Hlengiwe Mavimbela will be waiting to welcome them.
