A BUSHBABY was admitted into the clinic at CROW on Friday afternoon, 11 October, and an appeal has gone out for sponsorship towards its care.
He arrived with an injured eye and leg and was severely dehydrated. Tests detected that he had a high parasite load and was treated with fluids, antibiotics and a dewormer, which improved his condition dramatically. The vet found that he had a laceration on his cornea and a fracture to his tibia, however the vet believes both of these injuries will heal.
He has been receiving a non-steroidal eye ointment which will clear up the injury to his eye.
