Umbilo CPF, police host fun awareness day

An Anti-Crime Awareness and Fun Day will be on Saturday, 26 October at Stella Soccer Field.

THE Umbilo Executive CPF and Umbilo SAPS will host an Anti-Crime Awareness and Fun Day on Saturday, 26 October at Stella Soccer Field, Helen Joseph Road, from 11am to 4pm.

Residents are encouraged to go along and enjoy a performance by the Police Band, anti-crime awareness talks and displays by the Dog Unit, Metro Police Horse Unit, and Fire Department, as well as a Human Trafficking display, self-defense displays, entertainment from traditional dancers and more. There will be a fancy dress competition for children aged six to 12 years with the theme My Favorite Super Hero.

There will also be a drawing and colouring competition with the same theme, face painting and a jumping castle.
Different security companies and security providers will be on scene to help assist with all queries on security upgrades.
