Help with community clean-up

WITH the high incidents of illegal dumping across Ward 27, an appeal has been extended to Morningside residents to get involved in a clean-up event on Saturday, 5 October from 9am.

The group, headed up by ward councillor Ernest Smith, will meet at the intersection of Dulwich Road and Ford Grove (near Percy Osborn Road).

Take garden/rubber gloves, a hat, boots, safety shoes or takkies that can get dirty, a rake, if possible, and black bags.
“Assistance and contribution in this clean-up as a community would be greatly appreciated,” said Councillor Smith.
