Manor Gardens resident stabbed during robbery

A MANOR Gardens resident was stabbed in the arms during a robbery at his home on Monday night.

Blue Security’s Andreas Mathios said the resident had just arrived home and was in the process of parking his car when the armed suspects forced their way into the property. The incident occurred just after 8pm.

“As the driveway gate was closing two suspects held the gate to prevent it from closing and forced their way onto the premises. The suspects then accosted the resident and stabbed him in his forearms. They robbed him of his cellphone, wallet, keys and a remote and fled the scene,” Mathios said.

He said a neighbour assisted the victim and transported him to hospital for medical attention.
