THE deadline to submit comments on the Draft National Strategic Framework on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Femicide has been extended to 18 September 2019.

The Interim Committee on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) announced the deadline extention on Thursday, advising all stakeholders and members of the public who wish to view and comment on the Draft National Strategic Framework (NSP) to do so by filling the comment form accessed through the following link: Form for inputs on GBVF NSP.
The Draft NSP is available online through the link: Draft NSP as well as https://www.gov.za/documents/national-gender-based-violence-and-femicide-strategic-plan-draft-12-aug-2019-0000
The Interim Steering Committee was formed with the mandate to draft a National Strategic Plan Framework and establish a Multi – Sector GBVF Council, which will be the Coordinating body that will champion the GBVF campaign.
