Manor Gardens welcomes new principal

Charles Morgan took over as head of Manor Gardens Primary School on 1 August.

MANOR Gardens Primary School school governing body (SGB) welcomed new school principal, Charles Morgan.

Mr Morgan joined the school on 1 August. Previously, he was deputy head at Glenwood Preparatory School, a position he held since 2007, prior to that having been HOD for five years.

Mr Morgan has a Bachelor of Pedagogics degree majoring in Physiology from UDW, and a Bachelor of Education specialising in Gifted Education. He also holds a Higher Diploma in Education Management, a National Diploma in Human Resources Management, and a Diploma in Sports Management. He is currently Chairman of KZN Primary Schools Cricket, and is also the National Tournament Director of the CSA U13 Week and serves on the SA Schools’ Cricket Executive.

A dedicated educator, Mr Morgan said: “I am passionate about teaching and firmly believe that education must focus on equipping our children with the requisite skills that will enable them to take their place in a rapidly evolving work environment, where academic achievement is not the only requirement.”
