CATO Manor police arrested two murder suspects at roadblock on 23 August.
Provincial SAPS spokesperson, Col Thembeka Mbele, said , a 30-year-old man was found dead with assault and stab wounds in Wiggins on 18 August and police opened a case of murder.

“During an operation on 23 August, police arrested two suspects aged 25 and 30, in connection with the man’s murder at an informal settlement in Cato Crest. A 29-year-old man was also arrested for burglary and malicious damage to property. All three suspects are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates Court soon,” she said.
The roadblock also resulted in the arrest of 17 motorists for driving under the influence of intoxicating substances. Police operations in Cato Manor are ongoing.
