Take on Relay for Life

This is a fun-filled team experience to raise funds for education, care and support services.

THE community is encouraged to attend the Cancer Association of South Africa’s (CANSA) Relay for Life event on Saturday, 7 September at Kingsmead Cricket Stadium from 3pm to 10pm.

This is a fun-filled team experience to raise funds for education, care and support services. The theme is ‘Why do you relay?’

Organisers are appealing for donations to make this event a success. Items required include long stemmed white roses, purple and white balloons, entertainment for children, popcorn seeds, candles, sponsorship of luminaria bags at R10 each, entertainment, artists and performers and sponsorship of prizes.

Cost is R1 000 per team, R400 per student team, R30 per adult and R10 per child for day visitors.
