Centre requires services of professional nurse

The Denis Hurley Centre has a vacancy for a primary care nurse in its clinic.

STAFF at the Denis Hurley Centre’s (DHC) clinic are known as ‘Hurley’s Heroes’ – a team mostly of women who provide primary healthcare to homeless people, refugees and drug users at the clinic at the DHC and also on the streets of Durban.

The clinic now has a vacancy for a suitably qualified professional nurse with at least five years’ experience in primary health care and a dispensing license.

“We wish to hear from people interested in a full-time or part-time position and especially welcome applications from nurses who are male, or Muslim, or who are retired, or who speak relevant African languages. Please do not apply if you do not meet the minimum qualifications since your application will be disregarded,” said DHC director, Raymond Perrier.

For an application form, ask at the DHC reception or contact: leanne@denishurleycentre.org.
