Umduduzi honours its angels

This was an opportunity for the organisation to highlight its work over the 2018-2019 financial year.

UMDUDUZI – Hospice Care for Children – recently held its annual general meeting (AGM) at The Manor House in Morningside.

This was an opportunity for the organisation to highlight its work over the 2018-2019 financial year and to thank its funders and supporters. The AGM was followed by a cocktail party where all were challenged to pledge to do something for the organisation in the next financial year.

At the AGM, Umduduzi honoured organisations they work with for their contribution to the lives of children with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.

The recipients for this year’s Angel Awards were The Grey’s Hospital Pain Team and Sandy Cipriano from Cupcakes of Hope. Both of these organsaitons have provided an invaluable service to the children Umduduzi works with and for children in general.
