Cerebral Palsy Association in dire straits

The Association has had to close its centres and is existing from hand to mouth.

THE KZN Cerebral Palsy Association is appealing to the community to help with donations to enable the organisation to continue its work.

The Association has had to close its centres and only has sufficient funds to function for a few more months.

One of the Association’s primary functions is to provide for the running of two centres, CREST and CWAC, where its 24 members, all of whom are profoundly disabled and in need of highly individualised care, are stimulated and cared for by the Association’s experienced staff. If the Association closes, these members and their parents will suffer.

The Association is appealing to individuals and businesses to help by sponsoring a member of CREST or CWAC at R5 000 per month, or by joining its 200 Club, where you commit to a monthly donation of R200 for six months, or a single once-off payment of R1 000.

If you want to make a donation, contact 031 700 3956.
