State vet hosts free rabies vaccination clinics in Durban

The State Vet rabies campaign kicks off in Durban on 11 June.

PET owners are urged to ensure their animals are vaccinated against rabies at the free rabies vaccination clinics in the area which have been organised by the State Vet Durban office.

On Tuesday, 11 June, a team will be in Berea Park, Essenwood, from 9am to 10am, at Wilks Park, intersection of Venice Road and Burman Drive from 10.30am to 11.30am and at the

playlot in Hendry Road (next to the eThekwini TVET College) from 12pm to 1pm.

On the same day, a second team will be in Sutton Park, Sutton Crescent, Stamford Hill, from 9am to 10.30am, and in the parking lot of the licencing bureau in Percy Osborn Road from 11am to 12.30pm.

A team will also be at the playlot in Clayton Road, Sydenham, opposite the old age home, on Wednesday, 12 June from from 9am to 10am, in the parking lot at the swimming pool in Tarndale Avenue, Asherville, from 10.30am to 11.30am, and at the Sparks Estate sports field, intersection of Barns and Capell Roads, from noon to 1pm.

On Thursday, 13 June, a team will be at the playlot in Crescent Street, Overport, behind the old Admiral Hotel, from 9am to 10am, in the playlot adjacent to Overport High School, Villa Road, from 10.30am to 11.30am and at Sherwood Library, corner of Garbutt Road and Harris Crescent, from noon to 1pm.
