A MAN, believed to be in his twenties, has been shot and killed and another injured in what is believed to have been a botched hijacking.
Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care paramedics reported that the shooting incident took place on Berea Road, near the Caltex garage, on Friday night.

Jamieson said the injured man sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body.
He was stabilized on scene before being rushed to hospital.
SAPS are on the scene and investigating.
