Assistance sought in rape case

Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is looking for information regarding a rape case.

THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is seeking assistance with regards to the whereabouts of a man who is believed will help solve a case of rape.

The man is in his late 20s, is dark in complexion, slender in build, short in height and has a gold tooth.

“It is alleged that on 6 February at 6pm, a 15-year-old female was raped by a man in Dunbar Road, Cato Manor. A case of rape was opened at the Cato Manor police station for investigation. We are appealing to anyone with information to contact the investigation officer,” said Colonel Thembeka Mbhele from provincial SAPS.
