Cindy makes a difference
Cindy Norcott has been nominated as a top 100 Difference Maker.
DIFFERENCE Makers SA recently announced local businesswoman and philanthropist, Cindy Norcott as South Africa's newest Top 100 Difference Maker in recognition of her impactful and uplifting work.
Cindy is the founder and chairperson of the Robin Hood Foundation, an NPO that exists solely to both rescue and uphold the rights of women, children and the elderly through a passion for connecting those that have with those that need and compassion that ceases to fade.
The South African Difference Makers Awards focus on individuals’ work in their businesses, communities and schools, promoting a culture of appreciation in the country. Difference Makers International is a global movement aimed at fostering an appreciation for what people can do for each other to improve lives.
“I am really honoured to be nominated as a Difference Maker. Through my charity, the Robin Hood Foundation, we get to see difference makers in action every day, through the community workers we collaborate with as well as our own team who volunteer so many hours every week with a smile and great cheer. I love the fact that this organisation is encouraging people to be the change and highlighting those that are out there making a difference,” said Cindy.
