COMMUNITY Build Durban (CBD) is holding an event on 8 February at The Station Urban Event Space, 65 Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Stamford Hill, at 6pm for 6.30pm.
The idea of the event is to uplift and showcase the best that Durban has to offer. It takes the format of a TED Talk evening, with guest speakers talking on the latest architectural and property developments in Durban.
Speakers include the lead architect of the Moses Mabhida Stadium, the project executive overseeing the R35 billion Durban promenade expansion, the CEO of the Big Box Community – retail experts, and the head of Invest Durban, the organisation bringing international investments in to build up the city.
“We are so excited about the event and about showing the citizens of Durban how much good work is happening in our city,” said Julia Reader, director of Community Build Durban.
