Community urged to meet to discuss proposed Meyrick Bennett parking lot

Netcare St Augustine's Hospital still plans on using part of Meyrick Bennett Park for staff parking.

INTERESTED persons are urged to attend a meeting to discuss the proposed establishment of a temporary parking lot for staff of Netcare St Augustine’s Hospital at Meyrick Bennett Park, on Tuesday, 29 January at 5pm at the park.

Councillor Mmabatho Tembe requested the meeting with a hospital representative, the Parks Department and the contractor. The hospital is still planning to use part of the park for parking while upgrades are being made to the hospital.

“I urge affected residents to attend so they can put forward their concerns to these people who will discuss the plans,” she said.
