Bringing the festive cheer home

“We are encouraging people to decorate the outside of their homes or to light up the tree on the verge.”

COUNCILLOR Chris Pappas has teamed up with Musgrave Mall to try and bring festive cheer to the area.

“We are encouraging people to decorate the outside of their homes or to light up the tree on the verge,” said Pappas.

He said a few residents in the area have already taken up the challenge and have made an impact on the surrounds.

“There is a R1000 voucher from Musgrave Mall for the best decorated yard or tree,” he said.

Residents wanting to enter the competition must take a picture of their decorated yard or tree and send it to centraldurban@ethekwini.org along with their address and contact number.
