THERE was an aura of mystery as specially invited guests wound their way through the new restaurant area at Suncoast to the Globe, the venue for the official launch of the re-development of Suncoast.
“The 6 December 2018 will be remembered as an evening where all expectations were surpassed,” said Mike Dowsley, Operations Director at Suncoast Casino, Hotels and Entertainment.
It was an evening of angels, performers on stilts, incredible décor, a Moët & Chandon bubble Bar, innovative cuisine and an entertainment spectacle unlike anything seen in Durban, featuring both local performers supported by award winning South African musician, Lira and MC Jeannie D.

The versatility of the Globe was highlighted, with spectacular aerial stunts by entertainers, a violinist magically rising above the crowd and a dessert buffet filled with hand crafted macaroons, strawberry dipped chocolates and other delectable delights descending in the centre of the venue from the vaulted roof.
Celebrities and media mingled with dignitaries, Suncoast’s VIP guests, tenants and Tsogo executives on an evening devoted to celebrating Suncoast re-imagined.
