VIDEO: Mayor joins provincial CPF, MEC on Albert Park crime clean-up campaign

The enforcement teams began operations at 8am.

THE KwaZulu-Natal Community Policing Forum, together with MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Mxolisi Kauna and Mayor Zandile Gumede and SAPS embarked on a crime clean-up campaign this morning, Friday 7 December, in Durban’s Albert Park.

Gumede was taken on a walkabout in the CBD this morning and the clean-up and enforcement teams  set out at 8am and will make their way to Albert Park where community engagement will take place in a marquee at Albert Park.

The campaign will be rolled out to other crime hotpots areas including townships around eThekwini Municipality.
