Society takes historical walk

Members of the South African National Society enjoyed a walk through the cemetery, where prominent people are interred.

THE South African National Society (SANS) History – Culture and Conservation group hosted a West Street Cemetery historical walk on 8 November.

Members of the society enjoyed a walk through the cemetery where prominent people are interred, including Henry Francis Fynn, George Cato and Joseph Cato, Capt William Bell, the Baumann Family, the Greenacre Family, Liege Hullett, William Stanger: Surveyor General, Thomas Baines, the Kenyon Howden Family, the Badsha Peer Shrine, Fatima Meer and Rick Turner.
