Cat calendar launched in Durban

Skabenga launched the Cats of Durban 2019 calendar on National Feral Cat Day.

NATIONAL Feral Cat Day, conceived in 2001, is observed annually on 16 October. The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the plight of stray and feral cats and the need to trap and sterilise them in order to reduce the number of abandoned and unwanted kittens.

Compass Cares, the corporate social investment arm of Compass Medical Waste Services, launch its Cats of Durban 2019 ‘Working Cats’ calendar on the day.

All proceeds from the calendar are donated to NPO Cats of Durban whose sole purpose is to sterilise stray and feral cats.
