Umbilo spring-clean a joint effort

This was a collaborative clean-up with Parks, DSW, Metro Police, Human Settlements and Kenneth Gardens volunteers.

UMBILO’s Hutchinson Road and surrounding areas was the target of a city clean-up operation recently.

Ward 33 councillor, Mmabatho Tembe requested the clean-up after noticing the area needed attention. Tembe contacted South Durban Basin Area Based Management (ABM) for assistance, and a team arrived on Tuesday to undertake much-needed tree trimming, rubbish collection and a general spring clean.
