SAPS wants you!

Berea SAPS is looking for people interested in serving as police reservists.

BEREA SAPS is encouraging citizens to enlist as reservists.

Applicants must be South African citizens by birth between the ages of 20 and 50.

Proof of good health must be provided by a registered medical practitioner and must be of good and sound character reinforced by positive background references.

A senior certificate Grade 12 is required or the individual must have successfully completed a SAQA accredited NQF level four qualification.

Applicants must be able to speak, read and write in English and one of the official national languages.

Candidates who are employed with proof of employment will receive preference.

Fingerprints and DNA samples will be taken and applicants must be prepared to undergo training determined by the National Commissioner.

A criminal record or any criminal or departmental cases pending are automatically disqualified. Candidates must not have visible tattoos if the person is wearing a uniform.
