Women band together at brunch

"An incredible outpouring of unity and support enveloped this diverse group of women who arrived as strangers and left as family."

IN honour of Women’s Month Ashantewaa Ngidi and Hailey Fudu from a new organisation called United Team Building Solutions, hosted a Women’s Empowerment Brunch and Mutual Support Workshop at the Phansi Museum.

This was a powerful and moving experience with participation from Baha’i, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Coloured, Indian, European and African women of various economic circumstances. “An incredible outpouring of unity and support enveloped this diverse group of women who arrived as strangers and left as family. It was encouraging to see how solidarity and support manifested itself. With all the challenges our society is facing it was uplifting to know that the spirit of ubuntu can be achieved when the right energy and intention is put in,” said Fudu.
