ETHEKWINI Central Cluster Women’s Network structure closed women’s month with a 5km fun walk from uShaka Marine World to the Sunkist lawns.

Women from seven Durban police stations participated in the walk which ended with a bring-and-braai.

Champion for the cause, Const Zanele Khomo remarked, “we thank the officers for the support they are showing for the Women’s Network as well as the station commanders for allowing the members time out.” The Women’s Network structure is recognised provincially and nationally and brings about teamwork and a spirit of togetherness in the workplace through social cohesion and crime awareness events.

Khomo exclaims, “eThekwini Central Women’s Network rocks!”
