Follow the White Cane

The walk's primary objective is illustrating the importance of the White Cane for safe movement and independence of people with visual impairments.

KZN Blind and Deaf Society and eThekwini Municipality invites the public to its White Cane Rally on Monday, 15 October. The walk’s primary objective is illustrating the importance of the White Cane for safe movement and independence of people with visual impairments.

The route starts at KwaZulu-Natal Blind and Deaf Society at 9am, through Umgeni Road and ends at the Durban City Hall at 11.30am. A formal programme will start at noon and lunch will be served at 12.30pm.
