Weaving good karma

Essenwood Residence knitters are excited to get involved with the Community Chest and to make a difference in other people's lives by doing what they love.

WOMEN from Essenwood Residence in Stephen Dlamini Road appeal to the community for wool donations to allow them to continue Community Chest contributions.

Celeste Netto from Community Chest said the women love knitting and choose to support the Chest’s initiatives. “Knitted items go to charitable organisations the Chest supports. Wool is so expensive, that as pensioners, the women can’t afford to buy it.”
