A MASSIVE billboard pleading for the safe return of 10-year-old Miguel Louw has been erected at The Crescent Guesthouse in Overport. According to reports reservations manager, Faraz Thomas said the billboard was erected to show support for the Louw family.
“The guesthouse is owned by my brother who lives in the United Kingdom. This was his way of showing support for the community. Miguel is a child from our community and we wanted to give back. His disappearance affects us all,” said Thomas.
Meanwhile, Raylene Louw , mother of the missing boy continues to post heartfelt pleas on social media. In her latest Facebook post Louw wrote, Please, its been 3 weeks now. I have not seen my baby, I have no idea where’s my baby Miguel. I miss him so much, I love him with all my heart and soul and I would do anything and everything to have him back home right where he belongs … I know deep inside u there is some good in u and u do have a heart, think of this innocent child please, he neva do anything to u or anyone.

Miguel was allegedly kidnapped a month ago by a 47-year-old man while returning home from school. The man has since been arrested and charged. The man has appeared in court in connection with the matter.

The figure includes children that were found, usually within a couple of hours. There are no recent figures, despite reports claiming the rate of missing persons is on the rise.
