Enjoy orchid fair

The fair will have a variety of vendors with plants for sale and the popular plant demonstrations will be held during the course of the day.

STUNNING orchids and rare plants will be the stars of the show at the Fairway Orchid and Rare Plant Fair at 118 Fairway, Durban North on Saturday, 21 July.

Orchids, Staghorns, Bromeliads, Cycads, Succulents, Palm Trees, Bonsai, Tillandsias, Heliconias, Nepenthes and aloes will be on display and for sale. The Natal Orchid Society will also be showing some beautiful orchids which are in flower at the moment throughout the day.

“The interest in Orchids continues to grow and our show offers the opportunity to buy new plants as well as getting insights into growing and caring for orchids and other rare plant species. There are potting and mounting demonstrations held throughout the day and with the experts on hand to provide guidance on nurturing, it makes the Fair the ideal opportunity to brush up on your knowledge of these beautiful plants,” said Melanie van Greunen, organiser of the fourth Orchid and Rare Plant Fair in Durban North.
