Skydivers deliver game ball

The skydivers aim to draw attention to the centenary of the end of WW1 and the centenary of the use of the poppy as the Flower of Remembrance.

SKYDIVERS representing the SA Legion will be jumping into Jonsson Kings Park Stadium on Saturday, 30 June before the game between The Cell C Sharks and the Emirates Lions.

The men are hoping to raise awareness for the centenary of the end of WW1 and the centenary of the use of the poppy as the Flower of Remembrance.

The SA Legion will be handing out poppies at the gates, and people are encouraged to wear these with pride during the game.

The skydivers will be arriving with the game ball, prior to the start of the game.
