Assistance sought in rape case

Durban Central SAPS is looking for information regarding a case of rape.

DURBAN Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offence Unit is appealing to the community for help in a case of rape it is investigating.

According to Const Zanele Khomo from Durban Central SAPS, it is alleged that on 28 November at about 11am, a woman was walking on Warwick Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male who told her that he was looking for a woman to work for him.

“The man and the woman took a taxi to Kenville where she was led to a place unknown to her, and raped. Police believe the man they have an identikit of can be of assistance in solving the case,” she said.
