BEREA SAPS is seeking assistance from the community with regards to a theft that took place on 19 April in Ritson Road, Berea.
According to Capt Poobalan Naidoo, the complainant is an elderly woman who rents a flat in the road.
“On 19 April, someone came to the flat and told her that the owner of the flat had sent him to spray the flat for pests. The person was allowed in to spray. When the person was finished and left, the woman noticed that her expensive old jewellery was missing,” he said.

The police believe that the person they have an identikit of can assist in the investigation of this case.
