Durban Police seek help

Assistance is sought by Durban Central SAPS in a case of rape.

DURBAN Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offence Unit is appealing to the community for assistance with a case of rape and common robbery it is currently investigating.

It is alleged that on 13 March at about 3pm a woman, aged 20, was walking past Damelin College in Greyville when she was approached by a vehicle.

“The car stopped near her and she was asked to get inside. The driver drove to a place nearby where the woman was raped and her cellphone was stolen. Police believe the man they have an identikit of can assist in solving the case,” said Const Zanele Khomo from Durban Central communications.
