Take note of Hunt Road construction

Roadworks construction is anticipated to be complete by the first week of May.

WORK is currently underway on the conversion of Hunt Road from a two-way to one-way road.

The intersections to both King Dinuzulu (Berea) Road and Che Guevara (Moore) Road are operational, however on a one-lane-open system to allow for a flow of traffic from King Dinuzulu Road towards Che Guevara Road.

Work is currently underway on the expansion of the road to incorporate parking on either side of the two lanes, as well as walkways. Signage has also be installed notifying motorists of the one-way direction from King Dinuzulu (Berea) Road as well as a no entry sign at Che Guevara Road.

Work will be undertaken on the road between 7am and 4pm weekdays only, excluding public holidays.

Brad Tomlin from MCA Architects has said the construction programme should be completed by the first week of May.
