Memory champ entertains entrepreneurs

Durban Entrepreneurs Club meets at the Durban Country Club on a monthly basis.

THE Durban Entrepreneurs Club, which was founded by Grant Gavin in 2016, has become a popular meeting place for KZN entrepreneurs, mainly because of the exceptional speakers that have been invited to address members and guests at the Durban Country Club on a monthly basis.

GRANT GAVIN WITH THE MEMORY GUY, DAREN DENHOLM

This month’s speaker was no exception. Northwood old boy, highest placed African competitor and the only person to complete in the world memory championship six times, as well as founder of the Genius Series, Daren Denholm, was the guest speaker. Daren gave fellow entrepreneurs fascinating insight into his journey – from being diagnosed with ADHD and battling as a student, with little hope of passing his university degree, to becoming a world-renowned expert at the art of retaining facts and helping others to do so. Denholm explained how he had got his business off the ground despite the massive lows and incredible highs that he experienced on the way.
