Entries extended for Art Smart competition

School learners have the opportunity to enter their art pieces made from recycled goods into a competition.

PARK Boulevard Centre has extended the entry date for its Art Smart recycling competition to Friday, 20 April, giving learners the opportunity to finish their art pieces made from recycled goods during the school holidays.

Up for grabs are cash prizes to the value of R1 500 for first place, R850 for second place and R500 for third place with R5 000 being donated to the winning school. The winning art pieces will also be showcased in the Park Boulevard Centre.

Entering is easy. Create your artwork, attach your full name and school name and get your school to email info@goldfishcomm.co.za, or alternatively, drop off your finished art at the Etchings etc store at Park Boulevard before noon each Friday.

The creations will then be collected and the overall top five creations will be posted onto the centre’s Facebook page. Twenty finalists will be selected from the entries and an overall winner will be announced on Tuesday, 24 April.

The top three will then be invited to a prize giving ceremony on Wednesday, 25 April at 3pm.
