Art competition for learners

Stand to win money for your school with a recycled piece of art.

PARK Boulevard Centre is calling all primary school learners from the greater Durban area to take part in an Art Smart recycling competition which runs until Friday, 23 March.

Collect all types of recyclable goods and create amazing art to stand in line to win cash prizes to the value of R1 500 for first place, R850 for second place and R500 for third place with R5 000 being donated to the winning school. The work will also be showcased in the Park Boulevard Centre.

To enter, create your artwork, attach your full name and school name to the artwork and get your school to contact organisers before noon each Friday.

At the end of each week, the creations will be collected and the overall top five creations will be posted onto the Facebook page.

Twenty finalists will be selected from the entries and an overall winner will be announced on Monday, 26 March.
The winner will be invited to a prize giving ceremony on Tuesday, 27 March at 3pm.
