Expectant parents benefit from advice on Pregnancy Awareness Day

More than 150 parents-to-be gathered at the Ahmed Al-Kadi Private Hospital for Pregnancy Awareness Day.

AHMED Al-Kadi Private Hospital is dedicated to ensuring that parents and their newborns receive personal care before, during and after delivery.

“Pregnancy Awareness Day is about providing a platform whereby expectant parents receive advice from experts in the field of ‘family-starting’. Community is all about family, and we count it a privilege to be able to assist mums and dads in making informed decisions regarding their new-born,” said José Nadesan, hospital marketing officer.

More than 150 parents-to-be gathered at the Ahmed Al-Kadi Private Hospital on Saturday, 10 February where an obstetrician, audiologist, biokineticist, paediatrician and maternity sister spoke to them about what they should expect.

“The motive behind Pregnancy Week is to empower our moms and dads to be participative decision makers in their birthing outcomes,” said Sr Kantha Naidoo, AAKPH maternity unit manager.
