Awarenesses

BEREA SAPS’s Capt Poobalan Naidoo urges people to be more vigilant.

“Do not sit in vehicles in dark areas at night, rather go to a restaurant and chat or take your visitor into your flat. Park your vehicle in well lit areas where you can see if someone is breaking into your vehicle, and don’t leave valuables exposed in your vehicles. People are reporting theft out of motor vehicles where cellphones wallets and laptops were left in cars and were stolen,” he said.
