Craft brews for rescues

Around 300 animal and beer lovers supported the event to drink for a good cause.

A whopping R48 937.10 was raised recently when 10 commercial breweries, 20 home brewers, six bands and volunteers pulled together to support Project Dog and Feeding the Furballs animal shelters for the Tops Ales for Tails charity event.

Money was raised by selling event and raffle tickets, beer and gin and from food sales.

Despite the unfortunate weather, around 300 animal and beer lovers supported the event to drink for a good cause.
